About Debra Moore Washington
Ms. Moore Washington began implementing the McGrath SUCCEED system in her work in California public schools, where she currently is assistant superintendent for human resources and professional development. It was her experience with SUCCEED and the systemic changes the program precipitates that inspired her to begin teaching the system to others.
Ms. Moore Washington began her career in Education in 1976 as a junior high school instructor, after receiving her Master's Degree in Education from Stanford University. She has dedicated her life to helping students succeed and achieve, either through work in the classroom, administering curriculum, instruction and assessment programs or by recruiting, hiring and retaining highly qualified school personnel.
Her credentials include certificates in human resource management, labor relations, California School Leadership Academy, and the International Institute for Leadership in Assessment & Accountability, Center for Performance Assessment.
